Cheap Bath Accommodation & Hotels

About a thirty-minute drive from downtown Bristol, Bath is an ancient city named for its Roman public bath still intact today. The historic town is an open museum for discovery with Jane Austin’s townhouse, a neighbourhood with Georgian homes, and other historic sites and buildings. Those who plan to stay in the town can find some excellent deals on cheap Bath accommodation.

As in many places in the UK, this city has more B&Bs and boutique inns than hotels, but Bath does have some lovely resort hotels. Apartments and holiday cottages are available for rent as well. While hostels offer prices as low as $20 AUD per night, some small inns offer rates less than $30 nightly. Here are three low-priced options for Bath accommodation:

Dene Villa

Conveniently located in Upper Weston, this inn has small but attractive rooms and welcoming hosts. This home-away-from-home is cosy and the breakfasts are delicious. The walk to town is pleasant, but could take thirty-minutes.

John Wood House

This home has lovely rental apartments in a great location near shops, attractions, and the train station. The floor-plan includes a large living-kitchen room, a comfortable bedroom, a library and a bathroom.

Marina Villas

Just seven minutes from the centre of Bath, Marina Villas provides a clean and spacious four-bedroom town house for rent by night or week at great value for low rates. The sitting room has plush furniture, and seven people sleep comfortably and the home has two bathrooms. The hosts are friendly and helpful.
