Known for its university and famous scholars and writers, Cambridge became an organized settlement around 40 A.D. when Rome built a military outpost. Then, the renowned university began in the 1200s A.D. Today, the urban centre is a beautiful and prosperous university town. An English house with a wonderful art gallery, Kettle’s Yard one of the top art museums in the country. The facility has a permanent collection of works from the 1900s and also hosts contemporary masterpieces and exhibits from other art galleries.
Round Church
Cambridge has a rich Christian history and several amazing church buildings. The Round Church was built in the 1100s A.D.
University of Cambridge
